Comforts of Home Vet Care, PC is committed to providing quality preventative veterinary services throughout the pet owning community here in the Birmingham area. To that end, we've created our Express Wellness Clinics with low-cost vaccines. These are a great opportunity for pet parents to get their little companions the care they need to stay healthy.

Every vaccine clinic includes a wellness exam for each pet you bring to the event. Dr. Walker MUST examine each animal in order to develop a valid Veterinarian-Patient-Client-Relationship, which allows owners to order prescription medications or for Dr. Walker to prescribe medications for your pets.

We offer affordable core vaccinations and microchips for dogs and cats as well as heartworm testing for dogs (cats generally do not require heartworm testing). The prices for each of these services are listed below.

Please Note

Effective July 1st 2022, the following prices will increase: Dogs: DA2PCPV $20, Bordetella (Kennel Cough) $14, Heartworm Test $20 Feline: FVRCP $20, FeLV $25. Rabies vaccines for both dogs and cats Rabies 1 year $13 and Rabies 3 year $28. Annual Exam with vaccines $14 and Exam without vaccines $20.

***Please Note*** Our low cost vaccine clinics, by Alabama state law, must be conducted outside, so it is weather-permitting. The only reason we may cancel the clinic will be RAIN or EXTREME COLD. We do have canopies to help our volunteers and pets stay out of the direct sunlight as much as possible. If we are rained out, we may conduct the clinic the 2nd Saturday of the month.
